Carl is a native of Fairfield County, Connecticut where he attended local
schools and graduated from Fairfield College Preparatory School(1971) and Fairfield University (1975 cum laude).
After graduating with a Juris Doctor degree in 1978 from the University of Miami
in Coral Gables, Florida, he went to work for the Connecticut General Assembly as an attorney for the Human Services Committee.
Carl spent the 1980s working with a general practice law firm
in Norwalk, Connecticut and then joined a solo practictioner in Westport where he handled personal injury litigation and workers'
compensation exclusively.
In the early 1990s, Carl worked for
himself in Fairfield, Connecticut handling personal injury cases and criminal defense. In 1994, he moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts
where he continues to live and work. He has recently acted as Plaintiff's attorney in wrongful death claims as the result
of fatal motor vehicle accidents and dram shop claims in both Connecticut and Massachusetts.
